The " 5th Málaga Tattoo Convention " will be held on 14-15-16 September 2018
The Quality and World Recognition of this International Tattoo Convention is on track to turn the figure of the Tattooist into one of the Symbols of Málaga.
The Cenachero is today an icon of Málaga, thanks to an artistic contest held in 1876, demonstrating the roots and importance of art in the city. Curiously, the name of Cenachero began to be used from this contest, acquiring its maximum popularity when the city council commissioned a bronze sculpture, to place it next to a similar one of the symbols of Malaga such as the Biznaguero, who with his art creates the badly managed Biznaga agueña.
On two occasions the sum of one of the traditional trades of Malaga and art has led to the birth of icons of the city. If we pay attention to the Spanish proverb, which says that there are no two without three, it is only a matter of time before these two statues of symbols of the city are added that of a Tattooist, joining the symbols of Málaga.
The fourth international edition will be held once again at the Palace of Congresses and Fairs of Malaga, where the tradition of Málaga and the avant-garde of the 21st century are united, as well as facilities that can accommodate more than 20,000 visitors.
